Remy Ma Charged With Attempted Murder in $2000 Dispute

I guess she was punished for that blasphemous CD cover… who shoots someone over $2000?? Especially so called blinged out rappers… So heres the official story:

 ”Remy Ma and a newly identified member of her entourage, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, entered a dispute over $2,000 outside of the Pizza Bar.

Barnes-Joseph was entering her Nissan maxima when Remy got out of her Escalade, opened the side door of the Nissan and shot Barnes-Joseph twice in the torso, said police, which has also been concurred by witnesses.

As stated in our earlier report, the Escalade had fled the scene later to be crashed into another vehicle leaving the assailants to flee on foot.”

Remy has since turned herself in. Less than 24 hours after the shooting of 23-year-old Makeda Barnes-Joseph, rapper Remy Ma turned herself over to authorities and has officially been charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

 Thats just sad!

The other day I watched videos from 11 am to about 3pm on BET and MTV2. I was blown away at how many videos depicted cats from the hood showing off their bling or tossing money around. It ranged from Young Buck to Lil Wayne to seemingly almost every third rapper. I yearn for the days when this trend will stop.

If you think it doesn’t have an effect, think again. Last year this time I was in Beirut, Lebanon and wound up having a disturbing conversation with some people in a local barbershop. The convo started off with me being asked if I was from the US. When I told them I was, I was asked how come Black people in the US support George Bush. I told him most of us do not support the President and his policies.
