Act II?
Today Jay Electronica is supposed to be dropping Act II: “Act II will arrive on Christmas day, with over 10 songs and 200mb in size. the music will be produced by Jay himself, Madlib Mr. Porter, Hi-Tek, Beat Autopsy and many more.” SO I am impatiently waiting for a link to pop-up somewhere. In the meantime I’ve uploaded every Jay Electronica song I have collected together to a zshare link for all to get familiar (if you don’t know already). This collection includes StyleWars, Act I and several random tracks I unearthed snooping the web. If anyone has any more post links in the comments. I will post Act II as soon as it hits the web.
UPDATE: ?uestlove posted this on Okayplayer.com: • First up… regarding Jay Electronica. Netiher myself (a relatively new associate to Jay) nor fwmj have spoken to the man in about a week. Earlier he had said “Act II” would be revealed on Christmas day. From the looks if it, seems like that’s not happening. OH WELL. We can all wait patiently until Jay is ready. If and when we hear anything, we’ll let you know. It doesn’t help that dude’s myspace page has taken a hiatus. As far as we are concerned, we welcome the hype and the mystery that surrounds Jay Electronica. We just hope he doesn’t mind when we add to it
